This hands-on seminar provides the fundamentals of using QuickBooks to track business finances and follow accounting procedures. Participants will gain an overview of what QuickBooks can do and how to use this software to solve the most basic business issues. Hands-on QuickBooks software use will allow participants to develop new skills and enhance job marketability with confidence.

 

  • Basic overview of QuickBooks and getting started – the easy step interview
  • Setting up accounts, customers, vendors, items, and jobs
  • Processing invoices, sales receipts, credit memos, and payments
  • Handling bills, paying vendors, and remitting sales tax
  • Reconciling bank accounts and using online services
  • Creating reports, budgets and financial statements
  • Managing QuickBooks: printing, files and customizing
